A Hunter Lost His Way by Zach

There was a hunter going to the woods in August to go deer hunting. When he got there he saw a deer and shot at it, he missed it. Then the deer took off. The hunter ran after the deer. The deer ran throw a field of roses. The hunter losted the deer. The hunter started to walk to the roses. Then the deer charged the hunter. The hunter shot at the deer and missed. Then he jumped out of the way of the deer. Then the hunter got up and started to follow the deer again. The sun started to go down. The hunter knew he needed to get back to his camp or he would be in trouble. He tried to figure out which way he came from. He started to go one way. Then he said to himself, "No, I need to go this way. But the deer went the other way. I can't follow the deer because I need to go to camp. I'll go this way." One hour later the hunter kept going in circles. He told himself, "I need to make camp here for the night." He looked for a place to make camp. While he was looking for a good spot to make camp, he found a cave. He stayed in the cave for the night. Then he came out because he heard something. There was a group of people looking for him. He was taken home.

Nice use of dialogue even though there is only one person. It adds a lot when a character talks to himself. Plus, the picture adds a lot.
