Iyans peom 2

Some days I feel like blue ice.
When I’m blue ice I want to be alone or I’m sad.
Other days I feel like white lighting.
When I am like white lighting I’m unpredictable or really happy.
Today I am like white lightning.

Friendship by Iyan

Friendship is awesome.
It tastes like rock pox.
It sounds like the radio blasting to metallic.
it smells like the exhaust of a four wheeler.
It looks two friends at a rock concert.
Friendship feels like a roller coaster

Iyan

Iyan
Tall, nice with out coffee, and mean with coffee.
Big brother to geneses, star, and izaack.
Lover of Harleys, zombies, and metal.
Who feels sad at times, tired with out coffee and demonic 24/7.
Who needs Harleys, tacos, and coffee.
Who gives kindness, laughter, and advice.
Who fears not seeing sisters, losing grandpa, and demon cat.
Who would like to see Mont Everest, October fest, and disturbed.
Who lives in a room, in a house, and in Midvale.
Atwood

Grampa

cool,aged, and witty.

Iyan's poem

Chips & Cards">Chips & Cards" border="0" alt="" />
I am independent and kind.
I wonder if I’m real or part of a dream.
I hear the engine of a harly.
I see a valley on a mountain.
I want to be a poker pro.
I am independent and kind.
I imagine me hunting the biggest elk of my life.
I feel joy when I’m with friends.
I touch the poker chips.
I worry that I won’t see my sisters.
I cry at the thought of losing my grandpa.
I am independent and kind.
I understand that if you don’t chase after something you lose it.
I say if you try you succeed.
I hope that I make it past 40.
I am independent and kind.

Defining the Soul by Iyan

The soul in many terms is defined as our personalities. Just like our personalities our souls can be forged to match us. Over the years the soul binds and twists to differnt ways of life. Also it gets harder and harder to forge our soul. Until one day it finally brakes from the body and sores through the air into the after life. That is how I define the soul.

The sorrows of friends by Iyan

Someone at our school died. When I first heard about it I was in Mrs. Kuhn's room. I saw some of the girl's friends were there. One of them blamed herself for her death. I could see the sadness in thier eyes. When I left the room I thought of my one friend you commited suicide and how I blamed myself for his death. I still regret not going to his funeral.

This story is dedicated to Cha Cha.

The water is shallow so it's easy to fish here. The forest is green. I've also been hiking and bird wachting. Wish you were, Sis.

The Artist by Iyan

A painter with nothing to paint, a writer with nothing to write, and a singer with nothing to sing. These are some of the things artists run into. Some of them rise from it. Others believe that they will never be inspired. But for those people, they are in the blind stage. They can't see all of the inspiration in the world. One of my inspirations are miracles. Like a solder bleeding to death behind enemy lines, but a native nearby comes to his aid. Or someone in the hospital dying, but the next morning is healthy. These are some of my inspirations. So find your inspiration.
Because this is what artists do and breathe life into your art.

American Heroes by Iyan

America has had alot of heroes that have made it better over the years. There are many American heroes such as Paul Revere, Jonas Salk, and Cesar Chaves. These are some of the people who helped build America.

Paul Revere was an American hero. He was part of the Boston Tea Party. He warned other patriots of a British advance. After the war he became a silver smith. That is why Paul is an American hero.

Jonas Salk was an American hero. He made the first polio vaccine. He started the Salk Institue for Biological Studies. He tried to make a vaccine for cancer and AIDS. That is why Jonas is an American hero.

Cesar Chaves was an American hero. He started the UFW. He led a boycott against California grape owners. He improved working conditions for farm workers. That is why Cesar is an American hero.

These were some of the many people you helped build America. Some saved it. Others improved it. But all helped build it.

How to Protect your Bike from Bike Theives E-mail by Iyan

Dear Dead Man,
Hi dead man. I'm in college and I want to find out how to keep my bike safe from bike theives so I figured if I can think like one, I can protect my bike. So how would you try to steal my bike.
From Silent J, Miami

Dear Silent J
Hu not smart enuf for m.i.t. just m.i. will you don't have to worey about me stealing your crapy bike with its baseball card in the wheel and the girly pink handlebars. But lets pretend that you do have a prettey cool bike. Such as Montian bike or 10-speed bike. The first thing I would do is dress up like a bush. so stay away from anything with cartoon eye holes. Another way I will steal your bike is to carry a petition, very affective on college students. Heck I stole people's lunch, girlfriends, cars, cats and even puppies. If none of those work I'd yse the best of all cat burglery. But I always get stuck on the back of the couch. But keep bike off glass buildings. So there you go silent J.
From Dead Man

p.s. Attention all bike thives use bolt cutters will split the money later.

Haunted House by Iyan & Marvin

The haunted house stood on a hill. At night the vampire bats came out of the house. The crows get the day. They rest on the caved in roof. The weeds coverd the pale house. It's always dark and cloudy. The house rots to the ground. It remains abandoned and it's scary surrondings keep it that way. It stays old and gray - haunted by the past.

The Pizza Didn't Look Good to Me by Iyan

The pizza didn't look good to me. The crust was dark brown. The cheese was a lime green. The pepperoni smelled bad, like rotten fish. It had mold all over it. There were dead bugs on it. It was moving too. It looked wet and worst of all, it had anchovy. They had salt everywhere. But I took a slice anyway.

The Way of the Samurai by Iyan

The way of the samurai is a long path. It is a balance of peace and violence. Sometimes it is deadly. If a samuria failed to complete his goal with his long sword, he'd use his short sword on himself. It was the only option to save his honor. Also if the shogun or emperor would sometimes ask samurai to commit suicide and the samuai wouldn't hesitate. One of the peaceful ways of the samurai was to write poems and draw paintings of nature. That is the way of the samurai.

Memories by Iyan

Memories are many things. Some are helpful, others are lost. Most bring joy and some bring tears. My warmest memory is when I went fishing with my grandpa. I caught the most fish. My grandpa would tell me stories. My sadest memory is when my grandpa went to the hospital. His kidneys were failing. Luckily he didn't die. My most precious memory is when I saw my sisters for the first time in a long time. Those are some of my memories. Like I said, ''Memories are many things.''
